A 2013 graduate from the Illinois Institute of Art – Schaumburg with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Media Arts & Animation, I’m seeking a creative position that will utilize my skills in 3d modeling, 3d printing, graphic design, prototyping, and animation.
It is said that luck is when preparation meets opportunity. Following my graduation I decided to sell my car and pack my belongings for a flight out to the San Francisco Bay Area where I hoped to find work in the gaming industry. Three months later I found my luck, and a job as a Format Quality Analyst for PlayStation. I learned quickly, exceeded expectations, and made lifelong friends with my coworkers. As the end of my contract approached, I took account of my financials and decided to move back home. I shortly thereafter accepted a position as a Bench Jeweler where I gained skills and knowledge in metal working, 3d printing, and engraving. The position has enabled me to invest in my very own 3d printer and workstation which I use frenetically. I’ve discovered a profound joy in bringing my digital creations into the real world. I’m also fascinated by the rapidly advancing technology that enables new creative processes.
With my passion for creating and my skills in a wide array of creation processes, I am prepared for the right opportunity to arise that I may further develop myself as an artist and maker.
